Yes indeed. I was just watching a movie with a lot of these typed quotes.
Rules: the first poster on the page thinks of a thing to compare with, then everybody else follows the pattern.

Example:

Person 1: Life

Person 2: Life is like stuffting, the sooner you go through it, the less pain you will get

Person 3: Life is like corn flakes, the longer they're here, the softer they get

And so on and on.
