Nah.
It just got bigger.

No, the sets became less technic parts and more strange parts that were mostly incompatible with everything else.

Also the final fight thing with the spirit robots or whatever angered me because for one, they could have done it much better, and two, the scale of it. Apparently, the first spirit robot was 40 million feet tall. To put that in perspective, that's the size of Earth, and most of the time you see it, it's standing on Bara/Spherus Magna. To make it worse, the pictures show little to no curvature on the planet they're standing on. That means that they either aren't that big, or Spherus Magna is bigger than the sun.

I remember having a HUGE stack of books on the Bionicle story, ranging from the very begging with Toa Tahu emerging from the pod all the way to the end of the Metru-Nui stories. I still have them and read them from time to time. Plus, I have a book on fan created Rahi of Metru-Nui.

I remember the Toa Exo-Suits, the Mask of Time, the Bohrok, Bohrok-Kal, most of the Rahi, and a bunch of other nondescript items.

Who remembers The Mask of Light movie? First Bionicle movie ever made, and I loved it. I also have the official book on it.

I also have one of the Bionicle GBA games. Matoran Adventures? Yeah. I loved it.

Sadly, I no longer have any Bionicles left. I gave them away a long time ago. Now that I'm reading this topic, I'm regretting that decision. Oh well. They were fun while I had them.

I never saw any of the movies and I really don't want to.

Yeah, I have it on DVD. Shiny cover art :D

I watched some clips on YouTube, and the voice acting is terrible :o

I have both of the good Bionicle games on GBA. I just played one of them an hour ago, too :D

The Mask of Life was the first DVD my family ever got.

And now it's scratched to hell.

I never knew how to operate a DVD player, so I never touched DVDs.

Games, on the other hand... Those things were doomed from the start.

Guys, I just found a bag with the Kanohi masks for Lewa, Kopaka, Tahu, and Onua :D

Memorieessss

I have a loving shelf full of Bionicle, organized by year.
forget yeah I have no life.

1. THANK YOU.

2. They actually planned to do the giant robot thing from the get-go, and I've accepted that. I agree with you on every part though, they executed it horribly.

and holy stuff, I'm so loving pissed that they cancelled the original game. the gameplay looks a little shoddy, yeah, but keep in mind that it's a prototype work and still looks 3495609347534543985734x better than the god awful self-playing Bionicle Heroes.

this game has the LEGO aura that the old LEGO games had (Alpha Team, Rock Raiders, Lego Island, etc)

even had forgetin' mask-changing.

REMEMBER WHEN THEY ACTUALLY CHANGED THEIR GODDAMN MASKS?!!?!
