I DID.
Either it was, despite it's looks, simple, or you are loving amazing. Most likely the latter.

Also, did anyone else think the Rahkshi weren't really that great? They just seemed too simple and bare-bones.

It came with an instruction manual. Just follow the instructions.
It was really complex though, I messed up a few times on the legs.

They were awesome for their time. They dwarfed the Toa Nuva in size, thanks to their new knee joints, and the skeletal look was obviously intended. Then came Metru Nui, and all the ordinary Toa (Vahki too) had knee joints, and the Rahkshi's charm was lost. Especially since the Vahki were functionally identical to the Rahkshi (spin a gear on the back, they swing their arms side to side). I'd still take a Rahkshi over any of the later action figures though.

Inika were the last decent ones, but the first ones from 2001 will always be the best <3

Also:

RIP Bionicle game from 2001 :(

that's an early version of the 2003 game, which was unfinished even when it was released.

R.I.P. 2001 game and lost 2003 levels. :(

so we still need Lewa and Tahu avatars, right?

Comr4de has a Tahu one, he was using Gali yesterday.

Oh, I have all six Toa on my shelf (a bit dusty, I should clean them off sometime). I remember I built the Kaita once but they were too tall, so I had to put them back into their regular Toa forms.

I got this set for Christmas when I was a poorcigarette and was the happiest kid evar.

the bionicle movie/cartoons were always fun to watch :3

I actually recently had a dream in which I was playing the unreleased 2001 game, despite me consciously not knowing what the gameplay was like. It was nothing like the gameplay videos on YouTube, but it was still loving awesome.

I honestly wish I knew the names of the bionicle I bought.

I also have all 6 Rahkshi.
Ripped into pieces and put in that bin.
