Author Topic: Picture frame prints  (Read 5207 times)

I searched for it, and apparently, there isn't any picture frame prints! I found this surprising since I always am having to settle for posters, or a blank, solidly colored frame for pictures. I posted a request in S&R. But I got bored of waiting, decided to stop being lazy, and made my first working prints!

And V2

It comes with all eight parts, the four corners and four sides. Although it isn't the best, I thought it was ok for a first. And it will do until someone else makes better frame prints.

Interesting Idea.

But that high res picture frame, I feel, would not fit in a Blockland setting.

It is a little bit awkward, but for the most part it fits, and still works much better for a frame than a bunch of 1x1's surrounding a picture. At least in my opinion.

Run it through a flattening filter, it'd look better without so much of that detail...

Can I have the full frame picture? I'd rather have that to put over my stuff in Paint.NET than building those small bricks around every print.

I can't find it.. I googled "picture frame" or something and got the picture, but now I can't find it anywhere.

Edit: Oh wait no I found it :D
And heres the link for V2's original frame

So you used a frame found on google (or) made with gradient/frame maker and you put it over someone else's prints, and most likely with no permission?

No.

Edit: I love pointing the bad stuff on Add-Ons more than I do on good stuff.

What? I don't even know what gradient/frame maker is. And what do you even mean by put over someone Else's prints? I took a picture of a frame and using Gimp cut the 4 corners and sides, and resized them, reshaped them, ect. Then put those, in a zip with a description, server.cs, ect. Like anyone else would. Honestly I'm not even sure what you mean by put over someone elses prints. This is the first picture frame print out there as far as I know.

Nice, it fits better.

I like it.
If it wasn't for the fact I dislike split prints like that, Id DL it.

Picture frame may be yours. But what's inside the frame isn't. Plus the frames don't even fit in Blockland...

um, op has nothing to do with what's inside the frames. Those are just there to show how the frames would be used. And the first frame is a bit awkward, too much detail. That's why I made a 2nd version. If you don't like it than why not give suggestions, rather than just say what's wrong. If it doesn't fit Bl then what would?

Made in 20 seconds with Paint.NET effects.

That would fit better, my opinion.

it does seem a bit more blocko. I got a pic from google mainly because I wasn't sure what would fit, so I tried picking a more simple frame from what I could find. I'm not very good with paint either, I can edit pics but not make pictures with the tools alone. Can I use that pic to make another version?
