I am saddened. This is the top 4 only to decals, which is the top 1.

Nice. Will these stats also be part of the new API, so they can be fetched by other sites?

Probably not. I can't imagine other sites would need to be able to pull these kinds of statistics. I can't think of a usage scenario for it.

Hey Ephi, have you considered an out of BL Program that let's you access the new RTB Chat system while not in Blockland.

No, that'd require me to have to get passwords involved which I'm not too keen on at the moment. It just adds an extra layer of complexity. I may add it down the line when I have less things to do (and that will probably be in the form of a Pidgin plugin or something, not a standalone client) but it's not a priority at the moment at all.

It's ok.
but
not many needs for this...

No need for passwords, make player have thee BL_ID entered in the plug-in for it to work.

Yeah I'll just go ahead and type 150 for my ID.

Good point... Authentication Key?

Hmm, sure. But it might pose a security risk depending on specific circumstances.

Like?

I'm not sure this could work, but the server the information is stored on could be cracked/hacked, right?

Ephi doesn't have access to authentication keys.

Or, for example: You activate it, you go in game, you get an activation code or whatever. Say you did that, typed in your ID. When you go and check, if your ID is the same as entered, you'd get a message that would activate it? But someone else could screw with it even though it wasn't their own. Which is why it would have an activation code that you'd insert in-game to activate it.

I forgot my train of thought.

No the user enters his/her key and badspot should be able to provide Ephi with a database so he can enter it into his program. I think Badspot can trust Ephi.

By now he definitively does.

You're expecting that Badspot will allow the use his authentication system for a non-critical feature like an external chat client? Not a chance.
