Author Topic: Is Rio (Movie) Child-Appropriate?  (Read 13708 times)

I saw the commercial for it the other day, and when it got near the end, I "-_-" faced. Why? This (It's nearly 5MB, so let it load.):

Is this really a children's movie?

Edit: Dumbasses keep quoting the full image, so now it's going to be a giant loving link.

There are really no Child-Appropriate movies, if you think about it.

It's an ass. There isn't any nudity, she gets hit in the ass by a beach ball. It's hilarious to children.

But why did it have to be an attractive woman?

Couldn't it have been a fat dude or something?

Doesn't have to be extremes of the spectrum. An average person... Well then, it'd be fat. But my point is it doesn't need to be that attractive.

Why does it matter? Sounds to me like you're bitching over pointless stuff

Kids films always have 'Inside jokes' for the adults. The kids don't even understand them. Heck I didn't when i was that young. :s

I don't really care.

Couldn't it have been a fat dude or something?
But then it would be loveist!

The kids love jiggling asses.  :cookieMonster:
But seriously, studios appear to be going back to the innuendo laced cartoons of the past.
