Just Another Build Stolen

I built a Jail Break a long time ago and someone stole it. His name is Humphrey. I think he is, by the way he talks and acts, in the age range of 7-10. Here are some of the things he said. I was disguised as my brothers name, -Nick-.

I asked him if he knew iBlox.



I didn't understand what he meant, so I asked him if iBlox gave him permission to use it.



So I asked the same question again.



I said that it doesn't give him the right to use his build.



Then I said that it still doesn't allow him to use someone else's build.



After the message above, he banned me for like a minute saying I don't know what copyright is. Then, I IRC'd Neon, who was in the server, and told him to say he stole iBlox's Jail. I rejoined with the name "Cakeman106" or something.









I think what Humphrey meant was that since he was able to join my server and save it, it isn't a rule to steal someones build and use it.

I had a friend that was 14-15 and he's more handicapped than this with his typing.

This guy seems like a pretty big 'tard tho. He's probably missing some bricks in the build because of addons, and is probably hosting rules that would screw up the theme of the build.

Just because he doesn't claim it, doesn't mean he isn't stealing it, thats what the whole topic is about. He gave no credit to me and kept saying he wasn't doing anything wrong because there was no copyright. He also said that I gave him permission to use it, which I never did.

You built a build and hosted it on a server, that automatically means it belongs to Blockland and anyone can save it if they want.

I agree he was kind of a douche, but there is no official rule that prevents this.

If you have a problem with people using your builds, don't show them to the public.

that applies to anything, and it was a really dumb thing to say. drama is a category composed of whining, saying there's nothing to be done about something is simply redundant and dumb.

Same situation. There are hundreds of other drama topics that people can't do anything about. Like someone making a drama topic about someone deleting there house on a server for no reason. Nobody can do anything about that either, but it still fits into the drama forums.

Also, why are we discussing if this should be public when it already is? It's too late now.....
