I have been asked this before and truthfully I don't know. If someone's wanting recommendations from me I'll ask them to tell me what they want the app for.

This thread wouldn't be complete without as jailbreak guide for iOS 4.1.2 (which is the latest, if you don't have it you can restore to it from felixbruns.de)

1.If not already, downgrade (or maybe even upgrade) to iOS 4.1.2
2.Plug iDevice in.
3.Run greenpois0n.
4.Follow instructions.

My iPod Touch 2G.
Scrolling folders, scrolling dock, no "slide to unlock" bar (hold down the home button), SBSettings, custom fonts (primarily Droid Sans from Android), infinite amounts of win.

I can even add music onto my iPod without using the horrible piece of software called iTunes.

You may now proceed to be jealous.
