Now! As you all know the console for the half life games,

You know, the one you put the commands such as impulse 101 ect.

Where do these commands originate from and is there a way I can access them for my own editing deeds?

Console.
It uses the tilde (`) key.

I know how to access the console.

I want to know if there is an internal file that will allow me to edit the console commands.
