I posted a thread about my music long ago and since then have vastly improved so I suppose a new thread is needed.  Anyways how this works is I post my music, you listen and tell me how awesome I am (just kidding I still suck :D) and I post tabs /lyrics.

I play guitar, bass, drums, and I also sing believe it or not. Most of my music genre is within Alternative but I do dabble a bit in rock as well and experimental. This song in particular is Alternative.
 Anywho, I just got out a bit of a demo tonight that I'd like to share.

Eh, it's alright.
The percussion is kind of annoying, and I really don't like the dissonant effect in some parts of the vocals.

As far as I can tell, they fit fine. I don't have enough variance in the beat though. But that's because I used it as filler until I could make more suitable beat transitions.

Without even hearing the song, I am almost positive it's boring because of cookie cutter power chord progressions.

Edit: finished it. It was boring. There was no variance in the beat of the drums, no really distinct sections, and you played the same boring chords throughout the entire song with little tweaks in the type of chord and the order they came in.

The best I can say about it is that the production quality as far as the instruments and voice recording was good.

What you're missing is a lead guitar. That boring guitar work is fine for rhythm, at least in the style you were playing it disregarding the chords, but you need some more intricate electric guitar or some really good acoustic playing over top of that to make it sound slightly more interesting.

Also, as a bassist, I would recommend a more intricate bassline higher in the mix, but there's some personal bias in that advice
