Author Topic: Sqlite errors MUCH more concistant.  (Read 519 times)

Every so often while playing Blockland, I would get sqlite errors and Blockland would stop working. Now EVERY time I try to join a server or start one, I get sqlite errors making the game impossible to play.

I have heard that I should delete cahe.db, but I am not sure what would happen so I would like the opinion of someone who knows better than I.

If you're on a mac, you're gonna have to wait.

If you're on Windows, delete cache.db.

So deleting cache.db does nothing on a mac? Or do you really not know?

No, sqlite errors happen on random on a mac.

This is NOT random. It is every time I try to start a server or join one.

Delete cache.db

What are the effects of doing so? Any drawbacks?

(sorry for double toast)

Should I just delete the CONTENT or the entire cache.db?

Deleting cache.db won't work.
Deleting it will only cause your "downloaded add-on content from servers" to vanish, and will need to be downloaded again.
Solution for Windows: Make sure that Blockland actually is allowed to modify the cache.db file.
Solution for Mac: Wait.

No-edit.
Solution for Mac: Wait for Badspot to fix it.

Deleting Cache.db on my Mac worked.
