And there you have it.

Now lock the topic and leave it to die, you have no idea what you are talking about.

I've said something near a trillion times that this isn't even close to perfect. It's only useful to me as a speculative system that could work if we can start again (which we can't). How about you simply appreciate it for what it is?

We are.
Thanks for clarifying OP!

I think wizard should work on his attitude before trying to change the world.

I'm not trying to change the world.

Sounds to me like you are.

But what do I know? I'm only fourteen.

I love how people continuously complain about how stuffty our government is, yet when any other option comes up, it's easily dismissed because we've been brainwashed to think that any thing else is anti-american and you should feel bad for even suggesting it.

Democracy is as fundamentally flawed as any other political organization out there. There is no perfect system and they will all collapse in on themselves eventually.

Or maybe you shouldn't fix something that's broken with something that's even more broken.

There are no more bandages to fix up the systems. We'll have to make do with what we have, I guess.

So you are led to believe. Communism is technically the way to go, the only problem is that human nature is still in an infancy and could not run this in such great numbers effectively. Post Apocalyptic communities would thrive on this system.

I agree, today's society is so flawed!
I wish I lived in medieval times, back when people were slaughtered in masses because of their religion, burned alive because of their loveual orientations, drowned because someone felt like calling them a witch, and two thirds of the remaining population was killed by black plague! Such lovely times!

People always complain about modern society, not realizing that the only reason they even think it's bad is because [some portions of] the media told them to. Fox news would be out of business any other way. Ever heard of fear mongering?

Also, zietgeist isn't communism, it's anarchy.

Take a look at Africa. Almost every single country is poor and suffering like that. But take a loving guess why. They had a system like this, then guess who stepped in?
No they didn't.
The strongest group, with the most guns. Give me one reason why that wouldn't happen here, in America, if we were Zeitgeist.

Oh boohoo, he doesn't know something not specified by the movement. Obviously, if this were to happen, the militaries would need to stay for at least a time. We have a hell of a lot better idea what the movement is, although you seem to have stopped spouting about how this is bad because it would "destroy America" and how everyone who's poor is poor because they don't work hard enough.

Or maybe you shouldn't fix something that's broken with something that's even more broken.
You're implying here that the system Zeitgeist is proposing is broken, would you mind elaborating or is that not your style?

I think wizard should work on his attitude before trying to change the world.
Wizzeh isn't the only person supporting the Zeitgeist movement.

There are no more bandages to fix up the systems. We'll have to make do with what we have, I guess.
"What we have" is not concrete or unchangeable. Progress can be made.

It should be completely unnecessary for me to say this, but yes, medieval times were even more flawed; and no, Zeitgeist is not proposing we revert to them.

People always complain about modern society, not realizing that the only reason they even think it's bad is because [some portions of] the media told them to. Fox news would be out of business any other way. Ever heard of fear mongering?
Zeitgeist is not fear mongering. The points made in the films are based solely in fact, which you would know if you bothered to educate yourself about the movement before attempting to discredit it.

Also, zietgeist isn't communism, it's anarchy.
Zeitgeist is not anarchy. The elimination of paper money is not anarchy.

Zeitgeist is a stupid idea. I don't have to elaborate on why you're a loving moron, because you should already know why.

And nobody's going to support an idea if you're going to attack them for not agreeing with any points.

Zeitgeist is not anarchy. The elimination of paper money is not anarchy.
You previously said that Zeitgeist eliminates the government. That's what makes it anarchy. Elimination of a monetary system makes it a barter system, and barter systems don't work with more than a few thousand people. So, unless you plan on exterminating quite a bit of people, I suggest you really contemplate why we installed a monetary system.

Ike, A government system is not flawed, it is the people who run it that end up corrupting and ruining it. If you think about it, the human species has been running off of a communistic system long before any others and if they had not the human race may never have even gotten as advanced they have. Communism works, it's the people that forget it up when they become too greedy for the system to function.
