Weren't you just on a spaceship? Transporting to a random warehouse on a random supposedly spherical planet would indeed mess your genetic makeup.

You also observe that the planet that you've warped onto has oddly green grass, and weird atmospheric conditions that makes giant streaks of light flash from the sky.

You also note that the species inhabiting this planet must be really small, for the truck hole in proportion to you isn't that big.

I call bullstuff. You're just in a random warehouse on Earth, and "escaping" through that hole would only lead you to some form of civilization. So, go there or something.
