Presidency is more of an Icon than an actual power. I mean they still have a lot of power, but the FBI, CIA, those government agencies usually have a lot more. And no matter who is president, there are always people who are going to talk stuff about them.

Denying that the president has alot of power is just handicapped, of course he does. The three branches of government have the most power, the FBI and CIA aren't apart of those so they automatically don't have as much power as the president.

Obama isn't a bad president, and even if you think he is, would you rather want McCain?

but at the same time, most presidents just sit in the office and wait for a bill to be passed
yeah no

i was gonna say something about racial bias
but then i didnt

Honestly, no matter if your republican or democrat, if all you do is use ad hominem attacks on the other party you will appear as an idiot.

We get it. Your parents are republican. You don't need to post this everywhere.
Nothing like brainwashing your kids to be politically biased!

One of our congressmen (republican) got ad hominem attacks from the opposing democrat.

Got hit hard from those news reports.

He just wasn't taught properly or the parents taught him at a young age.

Explain why the health care bill is a major improvement.
It makes your country less bad.

This is obviously trolling.

And if it's not. Grats to your parents for brainwashing you.

Explain why the health care bill is a major improvement.

...

Are you kidding?

It makes your country less bad.
At what cost?
...

I'd like a simple explanation from your view on it.

At what cost?
Only people who care about money more than health would ask that.

I'd like a simple explanation from your view on it.
So you can question it?

Only people who care about money more than health would ask that.
I earn my money and I wouldn't like that money to go to a person who doesn't deserve it.

Simple scenario; Some fat U.S. citizen is eating McDonald's burgers left and right.  Would he eventually get a heart attack, who will pay for his hospital bill?  This creates a more hostile society.  someone would go ahead and say "Hey, don't eat those things, I'm paying for it".

Ugh, what is that smell?

Oh, it's the stench of extreme conservatives.

I earn my money and I wouldn't like that money to go to a person who doesn't deserve it.

It's funny, because in Sweden it's like this, except we don't have fat and stupid people, so we don't do that.

or I can do it like this:
I earn my money and I wouldn't like that money to go to a person who doesn't deserve it.
A human deserves it.

I'd like a simple explanation from your view on it.

I'[m sure you know by now that health care is incredibly expensive. Or, WAS. And poor people couldn't afford it, putting people with an extreme disease like cancer in a bind. But now that the health care bill has been signed, those people have access to the health care they desperately need.

Is that enough for you?
