Well I guess some people are just stupid.
You're an idiot. No one should be
forced to give up something they rightfully earned for someone else's benefit, regardless of their health condition. That's not being "good", that's not ethical. Same goes for one of the pillers of Islam; giving alms to the poor. No one should be forced to do something positive, that's horrible. Acts of goodness are created out of the kidness of man, not the religious or government institutions that force them to do an action perceived as "good". I have a right to
not give up
my money to people that are ill or dying. You can argue with me about my ethics, but you don't have the right to take my money and give it to someone else because you think it's a "good" thing to do. There are some homeless people out there, so how about I take your house from you, put you in a shanty in a hillside ghetto in Columbia, and give your house to a bunch of homeless people? Nevermind that you or your parents
earned that house and worked for it, it's a good thing to do and you have no say in the matter. Will's point was entirely valid, you're just an idiot.
derpderp
I care for people to, I believe in peace and love and good will, but I also believe that men have the choice to be bad, neutral, or good. Believing you are entitled to the money you earn through all the work you put out is not heartless or morally corrupt and you're stupid for thinking that.
Keep in mind I'm not arguing politics, I'm saying that you're wrong and people are entitled to their own choices regarding ethics and morality.
