Yeah aside from my actual cold flu one this ones on my computer. It only affects my browser as I know and whenver I click on a youtube video or search one it goes to a fake google error page. It first popped up when I clicked on a youtube link on facebook and its been bugging me ever since even on some other sites.

Any way to get rid of this or browser based viruses?

or reboot in safe mode and run your antivirus.

This kind of virus sucks.

programs:

Malwarebytes

PCTools (spyware doctor)

McAfee (kind of hoggy)

and Avast.

I would try what the others suggested. I'll give an extensive list of programs if you PM me...

OT:I had a virus yesterday and avast took care of it.Avast is good.

Totally off topic but my mom got a new laptop and wont get avast, she's keeping norton...

For extra caution download Mywot

It basically shows if the website is safe or not when searching up something or when clicking on a link. Its browser-based, you'll check it out.
