Author Topic: I may be a jerk, but I'm not crazy!  (Read 627 times)

The jerk, and the crazy part are not related whatsoever, I just didn't want to make two topics.

So I was in bed and I heard a weird chirping/scratching noise coming from the walls. My parents thought I was going crazy and the doctor diagnosed me with tinnitus. Two months later, when my dad was painting the exterior walls, he found a few birds had made a nest in a hole in my wall. So yeah, forget them, I'm not crazy!

I am a jerk because:
I went to see my cousins today and I was all excited n' stuff when I arrive at a different house and my uncle's there but my cousins are not. So I get all pissed and I'm like "I WANNA GO HOME" and eventually we left, and as we were leaving I found out they weren't there because my uncle and aunt divorced and the younger cousin (my age) went to go live with her mother and the older one is in a coma, my dad was there to comfort him. I am the biggest asshat in the world.

Discuss.

You're insane, and misconceived.

Tinnitus is not "crazy". It's a ringing in your ears.

I know that, but my parents thought I was crazy.

Oh, right.. ok. I re-read that.
Who jumps to the conclusion of craziness before considering something like the birds? I mean, besides your parents..

My parents... actually I think they got most of that from my fear of mirrors.

You're scared of mirrors?
Have fun in your next lucid dream.

Really? Is it like... full-on.. eisoptrophobia, or what? Does one of the bathrooms in your house lack a mirror now?

Is this now about my fear of mirrors? I mean really I can't be the only one here...

It's only very large mirrors in the dark when I'm alone in a room.

EDIT: and I dislike turning my back on them, except the one behind the chair I am currently sitting on since I've come to trust it. (Just don't ask).
