I was just talking with my dad, and he told me that some people in Egypt named their kid "Facebook".

This is the discussion that followed:

"Dad, I was planning on naming my first born child Twitter.  My second and third (Twins) Google and AOL"

"Sounds good"

El Fin.

Discuss names, and the most ridiculous ones you have ever seen.

Wow. Who would name their kid Facebook? Why not YouTube?

I think they should name their second kid (if they have one) "Bookface".

They should of named him 4chan.

This made me facedesk.

I remember this one news story talking about this couple that named their son Adolf Riddler.

I proceeded to do this.

Oh god lol Eksi and his shenanigans.

They should have just made her middle name Facebook if they wanted to put it in her name so bad. This is going to cause confusion in her future.
But wouldn't it have been better to name her after the founder?

I would name my child after a historical figure, not an item.  Its like naming someone Lamp instead of naming him/her after the inventor.

The first thing that should come to mind for a parent when making a name should be "Will my daughter/son be made fun of because of this name?"
