Neglect all of your surroundings and live in fantasy until it's over.

Might work.

I had five teeth out last year. One baby and four big ones. I also just got my braces in. Think you've got it bad eh?

But don't worry about it. The whole thing took about fifteen minutes for me (I had two out in one session and three in another, one session took fifteen minutes). Since I'm guessing you're being gassed I'll tell you basically what happens.

First off, take LOTS of pain killers about one/two/three hours before you take off to go to the dentist. They help afterwards. The worst bits are actually after you get them out, not while. When you get to the dentist they put a mask on you. You can still breathe from your mouth but I would suggest trying to only breathe through your nose because it helps calm you down. Then just close your eyes. Don't open them. They rub stuff in your mouth (you stay awake through the whole thing if you're getting gassed) and then they put a needle in your mouth. Don't look. It's not very big but still. Through the procedure all you feel is pressure in your mouth. No pain. After they put the antithetics in your mouth it goes all tingly (DON'T, WHATEVER YOU DO, LET ANY OF THE ANTITHETICS GET ON YOUR TONGUE. It won't kill you but it's horrible to have your tongue numb.) When your mouth is numb they rub on your tooth and then pull it out slowly. You won't feel much. Maybe a bit of yanking like you're being pinched, then you hear a crack. That's the tooth coming out. Don't worry. Then your dentist clears up the blood and does the second one. They keep you on the gas and ask you to bite on some cotton wool to stop the bleeding. They leave the gas on for about three more minutes and then you're done. Sort of. The numbness was the worst bit for me. I couldn't stand the feeling. I suggest afterwards you just go home and sit down and watch t.v/play video games. You might have to TRY to take a few pain killers while your mouth is still numb (you won't be able to eat or drink, do this before you leave to the dentist) to stop it hurting afterwards and if you go into school the next day take a few with you. WARNING: They put some thread stuff in your gum to stop it bleeding. It's black so if you see/feel any scab like things in your mouth don't freak out, just leave it/get it out and bite on some of the cotton wool they give you if you need it to stop the bleeding. The numbness goes away in about three to five hours. That's it. You might be tired/have headaches for a while afterwards but that's because it takes a lot of energy to go through something like this.

Most likely you won't have it as bad for me because they are baby teeth. Just remember, it will be over soon. Stay calm and collected.

Sorry for the long wall of text but most dentists don't tell you this in this detail for some reason. They just do it.

Your advice is very helpful.
but i belive i need more help.

Wont hurt I had a baby molar out. They gave me lots of drugs nummed it up with some shots and some gas then you can just direct your attention to something else for about 5 minutes. Then poof it is gone nothing to worry about you get to feel happy after that due to the drugs. Then you get a weird feeling hole.

I can't help much there. I had my two baby teeth pulled by a more traditional dentist. Good grief did the needles hurt :c It was even worse that painkillers have no effect on me whatsoever.

Are they on the top or bottom of your mouth? Because for me, the top one hurt horribly when they put in the needle. Have fun!

But seriously, listen to Freeze's advice.

I got sleeping gas (I think?) I don't know what it was, I was asleep...but not really...(I could respond to the dentist and do as he asked, but I don't remember any of it, i just remember waking up)

I had two teeth out when I had to get my braces. It doesn't hurt at all. Just close your eyes and don't look at the needle (the ones they have here look scary as hell). Think of nice things and everything will seem fine. But don't try eat soup afterwards like I did. God that was messy.
