Author Topic: loving pencils... and idiots.  (Read 1324 times)

Well, at school today there was a loving pencil on the ground. Friend picked it up and lodged it straight into my leg. It didn't hurt much, but I was pissed off. I'm scared of lead poisoning.

the "lead" in pencils is actually graphite.
Or pure carbon.

They don't use lead in pencils anymore
only graphite
.... :cookieMonster:
But seriously. You can't get leadpoisoning from a pencil.

dammit you beat me

What kind of friend stabs you with pencils?

by "lodged" I'm fairly sure you mean "poked you with the pencil enough to hurt and leave a little red mark".

If the pencil was actually buried into your leg, lead poising would be the least of your worries.

bitch please he didnt lo-

loving PENCILS HOW DO THEY WORK...?

Lead?

What are you 5? They don't use lead anymore, you can die from even inhaling any air that it releases.

One time I got a piece of graphite stuck in my palm because my friend is crazy.

I got to see first hand how someone stabs a person with a pencil. And it didn't stop there, they then broke it off so it was near impossible to take back out without medical attention. All this done by a 6th grader. Scary stuff.

It could have been worse, he could have stabbed you in the eye with a pencil

I once was being stupid and stabbing a crayon with a pencil, when the pencil shot through the crayon and into my thumb. I got it out, but the graphite broke off. Eventually the skin healed over it and I could see a little gray dot under my top skin layer. its not there anymore, it must've gotten itself out when I was sleeping.
