Map Photo Conflict

I've tried different manners of resolving the conflict of which picture would look best as the main picture for my next map.

I originally started with over 20 pictures, and it's been narrowed down to two.

Here's the two pictures:

I'm starting a poll here in hopes for a tie breaker.

Well, the first one looks better, but the second one does a better job of showing off the whole map...

I like the first one because it looks so clean and smooth.

The second one is all choppy and doesn't show much detail in my opinion.

Sorry, this is what you're stuck with.

I had several people come in and take photos for three days, each of them sending me only their best photos.

It's a bit late to add another picture when I've already done three polls elsewhere. (Went from 8 to 4 to 2 to 2 to here)

Like I said, I'm sorry, but these are the two that made it to finals.

I guess the voters from the other forum didn't like the other given angles.

The map is also called Gateway Isles.

This implies the other islands, and explains the bridge.

The first one seems to show off the general idea of the map. You can't really see the whole thing but you can tell what the map is like by looking at that.

I get a good idea of the style, but I have no idea about the layout and size. One could not tell if it is one big island, or a few small ones. In the first picture there is no way to see how much space there is to build either.
