Author Topic: Yay I got retracted eardrums.  (Read 1622 times)

I've had this before.
There's nothing you can do about it, just let it fade away.
But it's the most uncomfortable thing ever.

I dab cotton wool in Olive Oil and place that in my ears. It soothes them a bit, but it does feel really awkward.
And you'll find a dry yellow powder in your ear afterwards, but it sort of stops the throbbing.
Generally trying to keep yourself occupied with something else, and taking your mind off of the pain also helps.

Sorry that you've got the pain, though. :(

The past two times that I've had a common cold, just after, as in 1-2 days after it seems to go, I get struck down with intense ear pain, I can feel the tubes in there closing down under pressure, and my head entirely aches.
To top it off, it only goes off in one ear, making it all the more uncomfortable, and that ear also goes completely deaf.

Once again,

And the past is the past. Let a decaying horse decay in peace.
