That's quite a stuffty assumption to make, Kojo.

Just because someone is new doesnt mean they cant do anything somewhat correctly.

Damn.
I'd call it "The Badass."
No jk.

But scripting, it takes a while, just check out that chatbot topic in the coding section.

I doubt that he could model something that good when he just started modeling and joined the forums.

and what about this?
What are those black lines connecting to the gun from that one point? It looks like animation joints, of course because this person is new he had no idea how he suddenly connected them all up.

Duuurrrrrrr...... Its not blocko enough!

Just kidding. Great model, but some guy made default gun scripts or something. Did you check them out?

i didn't steal it and i STARTED this shortly after learning how to use blender that doesnt mean it didnt take me a long time (actually it took me about a day and a half to complete). plus i bought this game around 4 years ago but i decided to make a new account since i now have a new computer. my old account is duuude or something handicapped like that and i used to be a total noob.

Edit: i just substituted the model in the Gun script and it ran fine  in blockland but if badspot doesn't like too high poly then ill just use a script from another gun and not release it. anyways iv'e started work on a new model that i'm trying to make look more blocko.

double post. as for those black lines i watched a tutorial on animation in blender and i tried to make a basic reload animation but failed miserably. i don't even know if i did it right, but in truth i was just too lazy to remove them and i didn't think people would care that much because i wasn't going to make that the final model.

somerandomdude isn't better than the name duuuude, just less repeated letters.

i know but i felt like a new account i was away from BL quite some time and only just revisited it

Considering you joined yesterday, and you said in the model topic that you just learned modeling.

Its stolen.
when did i say i just started??? ive been using it for a while like i said i started the model after i learned how to use it.

This is stolen. It's pretty obvious. If you have been on Blockland for this long, then you would know that a model has to look Blocko, so you wouldnt have made it that detailed. And if you only learned how to use blender a few days ago, then you wouldnt be able to make that.

It's probably from Google Sketchup or something.

Bahahaha, that's amazing.

What you need to understand about the model is that, even though the details are beveled in a way that makes it fit into the game, if you actually put the model in the hand of a player and look at it the difference in how many polygons are in each, the discrepancy becomes astoundingly clear. Further compare that  to other weapons and it makes an otherwise really good model stick out like a sore thumb.

It does need to be dumbed down a bit. Not to the point of the regular gun, but enough that it can't really be picked out from a group of other people's stuff. Even though Bushido's add-ons are pretty terrible, he does a great job at balancing detail and simplicity in his weapons. I'd start there as a reference.
