Author Topic: Forgetting what you're doing completely before doing it.  (Read 1179 times)

Admit it, you've done it many times before. Let's say you're sitting down, and you get uncomfortable so you go upstairs to get a blanket, but halfway there you forget what you were doing.

Everybody has these moments, and let me say that these moments are horrible because usually I forget to do something IMPORTANT.

So share with us the moments you've had where you forgot completely what you were doing right before doing it.

YES.

I HATE THIS FEELING.

You feel like something is horribly wrong until you remember what you were going to do or forget about the entire affair. Not fun.

I've never done this before in my life. :D

Or maybe I just forgot about it.

What am I doing here again?

I do it about once every four or five hours, although I can only remember a few of them.

One of mine was going upstairs to get a bottle of coke and I forgot what I was doing so got a box of cookies instead.

This happens to me a lot and usually involves me forgetting I have to pee.

Happens a lot. I HATE THAT FEELING BECAUSE IT'S USUALLY
something IMPORTANT.

loving hate that stuff so much
>walking upstairs to get my cup
>walk into room
>completely forget why i went in
>walk back downstairs, pissed at myself
>play games
>get thirsty
>look all over the house for my cup

>assume the tubgirl position
>force the drink out of your ass and into your mouth

hah, I usually get it when I see something, then im like "Huh, I should look that up on YouTube." I go on YT, then I have no idea what im doing.

Sometimes I'll be sitting there, and I'll blank- What's going on? What was I even thinking about? I'll try to let it slide, but the nagging anti-thought keeps at the back of my head, tantalizing me, making me wonder- Until I snap! Oh yeah! The house is on fire.

It's good to remember these things.

Something like that happens all the time at my house.

"Hey, look, a pair of scissors on the computer desk. Ah, I don't need them right now. I'll just keep them here until I do." *few days later, needs to cut paper, goes back to desk* "Where's the scissors!?"

Happens a lot to me, actually.
Usually when I'm on the computer.

*finally remembers to open oblivon this time*
*get's interested by something on my desk*
*still isn't playing oblivion, one hour later.*
