Author Topic: Music File Help!  (Read 1871 times)

I added the Invincibility music from Sonic '06 to the Music folder in Blockland's Add-Ons.  I turned it into a mono as well as an ogg, and finally called it "Invincibility".  But whenever I host a server, it never loads.  It's stuck, which Blockland has never done.  After 5-10 minutes of waiting, it STILL is stuck!  It's like Blockland froze!  If anyone helps me, they'll be bringing me one step further to submitting these music files to RTB!  Please help me :(

Won't anyone reply?  I really need help!

Where does it get stuck?

Noedit:

Also, if you disable the music, will it work?

@Doomonkey

Well it just freezes whenever I do "start game" or whatever.  And yes if I disable the music, it does work.

@GeneralSkar

YES, IT DOES!  Only ask questions with RELEVANCE!  I mean, I could put it in the miscellaneous area.

How large is the file?

I don't think so. Have you ever seen any music file on RTB before?

I have, but they got rid of music file uploading a while ago.

I bet its not loading due to a space or an invalid character in its name.

Use only numbers and letters and _ for spaces, or your song will not load.
An example being: "Supercool_Music_6"

Check the beginning / ending of the name for an extra space..

@Doomonkey It's 175 KB.

@Mr.NoBody  Nope, no spaces.  It's called "Invincibility.ogg".

@Devvy  THAT'S why I can't find music on RTB!  I know there's TONS of music add-ons on the web!  I bet it's just on MediaFire or something...

@GeneralSkar  Sorry, I guess you're right!

How did you people upload music?

How did you people upload music?
I use an FTP server. But since the file is small it can be attached to a post.

Well here's the file...

I attached it to this reply.  Is there anything wrong with it?  Did I fail in turning it to a Mono?

The song is still stereo.
Here, I fixed it for you:

Number 2 is also a 5 second loop of the guitar riff, just 'cause.

Really?  Thank you!  I will try...
