How come i cant edit the slate maps with misson editor?

no. Misson editor opens but i cant paint the ground on Slate - Desert to make dirt and sand and cant make mountains

Click the ground and start looking at the details.
It should come up.

It's not a terrain map, it's interior. You can't paint interiors.
