God dammit of course this happens as soon as we get our cable TV cut off.

I've always liked Cartoon Network better.
They're both awful.

I don't know if it's rosy retrospect or if they've just generally degraded into sugar and product laden regurgitation.

It is not known whether or not the shows will try to create new concepts for the characters, or if they will pick up from where they left off years ago. Rumors have been circulating that the kids in the shows have now aged and will be moving on with their lives. For instance, the gang from Rocket Power now have taken the leap into their teenage years and now attend high school in Ocean Shores, or Arnold and his pals from Hey Arnold, have now moved on from elementary school to middle school in New York.
I found the changes to both Rugrats and Doug to grow up were grotesque as well. But C'mon, the comic characters in the Sunday funnies like Family Circus have been perpetually 5 for the last 40 years and it still works for them. Many networks change something to keep old fans rather than working to the next generation fanbase. Birth rates have been on the rise so there is an endless amount of new viewers these days. Too afraid of losing ratings that bad I guess.

YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! YES!

Nostalgia climax. :cookieMonster:

Is there anymore proof than just a school newspaper website?

So?

They didn't go off the air completely before I was born.

I loved those shows.

Point taken. ^^'

Are you saying that all television sequels suck or that everything that sucks gets a sequel?

Well, depends on the series and other stuff.
If it was a series from the 70/80/90 it's obviously going to suck if the sequel is made afterward in like 2005+
The same goes for games.
Not always but most of the times.
Best example here would be Sonic The Hedgehog. Everything past 2000 sucked richard and still sucks richard.
