Drawing

Ever since I was in the third grade I've regretted the fact I could not draw.

Now that I have spending money I'm interested in getting a digital pad so I can at least give myself a shot at it.

Does anyone have any suggestions for what to get?

For hardware, I'd recommend the graphics tablets made by Wacom, my sister is an illustrator of shorts and it works great for her, but software, I'd say Photoshop or Autodesk sketchbook, which are great in combination with a tablet.

Adobe Illustrator is a vertex program. It's more of the graphical design side for making logos, posters, etc. I do use it for drawing though.

As far as I know, using "digital pad"'s or Paint is more difficult. I use the good ol' paper and pencil. lol  Then again I've never used digital pad's... so I wouldn't know
