Numerous roads still remain closed due to high water, with some roads sustaining major damage. Some of the hardest hit areas include the cities st. Marys and wapakoneta where evacuations have occurred due to the st. Marys river and auglaize river being out of their banks.Very high water will be slow to recede across the warning area. As a result, the flood warning may need to be extended beyond noon Wednesday.Some locations that will experience flooding include, ada, bellefontaine (where I live), dunkirk, celina, coldwater, greenville, kenton, sidney, st. Marys, wapakoneta, alger, anna and ansonia.Precautionary/preparedness actions,Never drive into areas where water covers the road. Only a few inches of rapidly flowing water can quickly carry away your vehicle. Find an alternate route or wait until the water recedes.To report flooding, have the nearest law enforcement agency relay your report to the national weather service forecast office in wilmington.
