So is the file you sent me the working one?
I think it shouldn't be such a realism thing but more of a simple thing, I dont think the gameplay would be as fun with all the complicated scripts, and there would be loads of datablocks for the RTB prefs. Don't get me wrong there are certain things that I would love to see, such as the models with no hands and the wide sound radius, but it sounds like I'd get to realistic to be fun.
Really only the effects are realistic, not the functions(except for the selective fire and ADS). The support script only has 20 datablocks(not the exact number, but I can't check on this computer) added to it and it contains every flash, recoil, and sound modification effects that I will need. Every gun comes with maybe 10 datablocks(images/items, projectiles, specific sound effects, etc.). But I did remove the scope sway because that's just annoying and would add around 3 datablocks :U(well, we could put some kind of sway animation into the model and get rid of it's muzzlevector >_>)
