The show gets like all of its funding from merchandising, so if there's a spike in MLP toy sales then it will send a message to Hasbro that the show has been and will continue to be a good investment for them. By buying the toys you're giving the show the profit it needs to stay on the air.

Most of them do. some of them sort of do, but need their manes trimmed/combed (i.e. Rainbow Dash and Twilight).  Other than that, they look pretty much like they do in the show.  I'll upload pics in just a second.

EDIT:  Okay, a pic for you.

As you can see, Twilight and Rainbow Dash need a bit of a trim, but otherwise they're fairly accurate.  We had to wet Fluttershy's hair and comb it with a fine toothed comb, too.  Also, this is proof that they're mine because of this and this, which were both in some of my previous posts.

I am, its slower than usual for me at the moment.

They do look pretty accurate, except for Rainbow Dash and Twilight, they look almost nothing like they do in the show, except for their colors.
