I have to admit, a large percentage of it is that I'm addicted to the excellent music remixes. Plus the fact that it's a good show in general. It has action alongside a good plot, like a good show should have. Plus, there's some really cool fanart out there. Here:

I like the characters, even the extra ones seem to have a personality aswell. Sure the plot is muh, but its better that most trash I see today. The animation is very well done, they even animate parts you wouldn't expect. The voices are very good and fit the characters perfectly. Like I said before this is ment for EVERYONE to enjoy, it's not just 30 minutes of girls talking about some guy or doing boring girly stuff, theres action in this show, In one episode a hydra attempts to kill them and they have a dramatic escape, and in a few more theres some fights going on.
But my main reason is I grew up watching Lauren Faust programs like Foster's Home, Dexter's Lab, and Powerpuff girls, Lauren Likes making cartoons for everyone even if one or 2 of hers look girly, i even thought it was girly because of it being animated after a toy wich had been girly and stuff before, but it seemed watchable because of how the creators made it: For everyone.

grew up seeing her shows, but they're so childish now that you're grown up, aren't they?
The animation, I acknowledge, is very well done.
The drama? Naah. It's too child-oriented to have any tension. You know they're all going to escape and live happily ever after.
