Author Topic: Apparently, the internet has changed me.  (Read 5152 times)

The forums have changed me.

I can no longer give sympathy or empathy.

My sister lost my phone and asked if I could borrow heres and I called her an ungreatful bitch who needs to stop losing her stuff.

2 years ago I'd of gave her my phone and said she can give it back when she's done.

But I like the change, I feel superior.

my friends lol hard when i say "u jelly?"

I find I'm slightly more reserved after regularly using the internet and joining into online communities, primarily this one.

I also find I'm more emotional.

What I don't understand is how a friend can desert you because you've gotten a slight change to your personality.

I notice my friends go through little changes in personality all the time, and they see me change too.
It's part of growing up. But I have never lost a friend from someone changing the way they act.
All my friends and I have always just accepted each others personalities and tried to get on with them.

The only time I ever, ever hear of people falling out from "Changing" is between girls.
I've got no idea why, but you girls seem to be incapable of accepting any change in anyone.
Sounds rather tedious and boring.
Is that why girls always, always fall out and then make friends again around the age of Puberty?
I always noticed it, but only just thought about why girls always fight and boys tend to stay friends.
In fact, I've only ever lost friendship with girls, too. And always due to some change in someone's personality.

I once lost a good friend (girl) because apparantly I "Changed" when I went up to Secondary School and started making new friends.
Not only was she actually jealous of me having friends, but she expected me to not make new friends in a new school, in which almost half of the children in my entire county at the same age as me end up visiting.

Anyway, enough about me. I waffle on too much. Another traight I've sort of picked up from here too.

But yeah, as cliche as it sounds, if she's not accepting your slightest changes, then she likely isn't a friend anymore.
That or you'll just become friends again soon.

I dunno. Just chin up about it. Having a fight with a friend isn't the end of the world.
Also, you now have the Internet as a friend. A friend with many, many talents. :S

Ohoho.
It's changed me in a bunch of ways, for damn sure.
For example, I'm a furcigarette, biloveual, and damn awesome.
Same.

I always keep my "forums activity" away from my "real" friends.

But I have been slowly evolving into an awesome person in general.

@Sir Dooble

YOU MUST CONVERT YOU FRIEND.

SHOW HER THE WONDERS OF THE INTERNET.

No seriously, if you're friends can't accept what you do in your free time it's their problem.

It's that he was acting differently, not just the fact that he used it.
