But can it play GentleMentleMan?
Sounds you overcomplicated a simple thing.
Wich is good I guess.

Is it safe to assume that this uses more than default events?

The only other events you need are variables. But theres also a custom sound pack included for genuine piano keys.

Maaaan, this puts my Chordinator to shame... I thought my eventing was a simple approach to doing something a bit advanced, but this... this just blows it away, it seems.

I am a bit sad and envious now. I hope someday I am inspired to make something amazing, whether it be in Blockland or in real life, that can compare to this.

Excellent work, Icy.

[EDIT] Well, I found a bug in your CPU. The brick named "erasemem22" has an "onRelay->[some named brick]->setColor red" event on it. This seems to cause the 22nd note in the chain to not be erased correctly.

Also, a lot of the unsustained black key notes seem to just cut off abruptly whereas most of the others fade out really quickly, but at least they fade out. Just thought I would let you know.

Interesting, I'll take a looksy.

EDIT: Yeah you are totally right. The brick you found is the first segment that erases all data on block 22 of the memory. Due to the event limit, it then fires over to a brick called something like erase22_ext which cleans out the rest of it. Instead of firing a relay its just coloring itself. How the hell this happened, no clue. I'll update the save.

Okay its fixed now in the form of 1.1. Thanks again.

Um, no. How is a piano one of the most advanced event build in Blockland history? Most people probably wouldn't use more than half the features, just playing random keys.

Um, no. How is a piano one of the most advanced event build in Blockland history?

It has a CPU in the back made with about 10,000 of the events which remember what key is pressed, checks memory blocks, writes to free memory, and erases from the memory using toggled events and calculating variables to keep it all in order, and can be played back at different tempos. If you have a look at it, you'll understand.

Aside from that, its the only piano in Blockland to make actual piano sounds including sustain mode.

Most people probably wouldn't use more than half the features, just playing random keys.

Now now thats not a very intelligent thing to say. Whether you destroy it with a hammer, paint it pink, or use it properly its still highly evented and advance.

Oh...
My...
Goodness...
Watched the first minute of it and was amazed. Nice job.

I would never have the patience or motivation to make something like this.

I tip my hat to you, sir. (Yes, I have a hat.)

Isar ain't got nothin' on this.

Assuming my router works, I'll be hosting this for a bit for people to try out.
