even if it followed  >1920 architecture, it'd be a handicapped way to represent "old world" as a lot of old houses just look like any fancy-ish house you'd find in a historic neighborhood from around today.  Old houses are so common among today's time that you can't even build one in Blockland and try to say that its old.

I figured people would rather do 1880+ western stylized buildings over 1920 buildings. Or even WW1 era at least. Maybe I should limit it to 1800 and below.

Since these are Old-World Builds, making something like a Medieval Castle would count, right?

Yes it would, anything before 1920. The year 1920 is just the year limit anything higher than that will not be accepted. I might set it to 1900 but I am interested to see if anyone will try to do WW1 type builds or the end of the old western age like in red dead redemption.
