Well, yeah. I downloaded RIFT and that's when it started, I ran MalwareBytes and Avast, and Spybot: S&D, what do?

That wouldn't explain the bsod but part of it.

Sounds like a hardware failure or overheating. Download HWmonitor and monitor your temperatures while playing Rift.

Update your drivers , that fixes most cases of BSOD :)

No, this laptop is always chilly.
