Sheath, even if we don't need them, do they help at all?
Also, Isaac , perhaps its worth it.

They won't help you anymore than just using conventional free ways would.

Also, Julius, I think that's called deja vu.
Eh, maybe...considering that it means already seen.

...

How many people here have seen something happen before it actually happened?  :o

mememe! It's happened to me a lot. It always gives me a funny feeling. I think it's pretty cool, though >;o

@Sheath: Oh, ok then.

I don't understand.
You guys act like when you are in a dream, you can control your body and walk around and talk, and ga as easy as twitching your muscles to RC.
I'm not in control of my body, I'm not even consciously able to think
It's like I'm just watching.
Is this abnormal?

Not abnormal, just not particularly common. My mother used to dream exclusively in black and white.

forget.

I have this all the time.
At the time of the event, I get the same feeling.
The event, while the context may be different, the event is exactly the same.

I've been doing reality checks every time I go through some type of door way, will this lead to me doing it in a dream, or am I wasting my time?
Since no one saw it the first time.

No no, that is fantastic! This is just what you should be doing. I guarantee if you keep this up lucidity is a stone throw away.

i looked in the mirror and saw my blockland character. hell yes.

Yeah pretty sure once I get lucid I'll just look in a mirror to see if scary stuff happens olololol.

Hooray!

I couldn't think of any other, well I guess you could call it a 'trigger' where every time x happens, I do a reality check.

Hope I get lucid tonight or at least remember the dream vividly.

The technique what you are doing is just what I did. It lead to really easy induction of dreams. You might want to freshen up the trigger daily by picking something new.

When you RC, also question what is around you and try remember how you got there. In a dream, you'll just appear in places without knowledge how you got there so it'll be an instant lucidity shock.

Alrighty, after I read through my dream journal I'm going to bed.

But like I said before, I couldn't think of any other 'triggers' besides the door way one, any suggestions?

Ones I used to do were....

Whenever you touch money

Whenever you look at the ceiling

Whenever you think of buttons (i.e remote control, coat buttons, keyboards, elevator buttons)

I guess I'll try some of those out as well.
