Author Topic: First 3D Gun Attempt  (Read 521 times)

I couldn't tell if this went into creativity or Off-Topic so... Yeah whatever.

Anyways I got back into Blender and I decided to take a crack at modeling a gun. Like usual it came out stuffty but NOT AS bad as I usually do.

This is my first crack at a gun (or at least first COMPLETED attempt) and I was hoping to get some tips on how to make it look better.

P.S. Any methods to modeling hands? :s

There's a 3D modeling topic in creativity...

So you hold this gun with your ring finger and pinky?

Well please do excuse the fact that I don't keep an updated log on every thread created.

Stretch it out vertically, it seems kind of compressed. :o

This thread should go in creativity, And if you were going to put it there you would have seen the thread.

Not bad for a first model.

I should go find my old hat models

Isn't my FIRST model but might as well be.

I haven't modeled in ages and even then my previous stuff looked like complete, undefinable stuff.

I see. I don't go to creativity often but to think I would have seen that thread.
I'll let this run it's course and if it's not dead tomorrow I'll lock it.

Not too shabby for a first model, my friend. And there's always room for improvement.
