The only reasons clan sites don't work is because:

1) Not all the clan members know about the site.

2) No motivation to sign-up

If you can solve these, then the site should be good to go.

Still, Blocklanders browse the forums more than the clan sites. As I said before, they don't work.

True, you don't need as much views as these forums. Just enough for your active clan. Like this thing I made for iEvent, I would like to put it on a site to it will be updated easier. But iEvent no longer has a website, so I'm still things of what I could do.

Clan forums are indeed crap. Ascii had a blog which worked. But forums... clans always open crap ad-ridden free forums with no customization and everyone joins but can't be forgeted posting because the website is too crap and nobody visits it anyway.
