Design sellers can expect no good to come soon. After a spike of demand for design over the weekend, sellers such as famous Joshua "Icygamma" Liddle, or veteran builder "Custard" are being forced to lower prices. If this keeps up, they may have to switch businesses within a week!
Food is exploding in demand! After user "MrCookie" started selling food for $45 (pictured below), the other businesses seemed to drop away. The community was sick of paying $45 for food, so some businesses have popped up,
Including my own :P, and MrCookie may be forced to lower prices, as other sellers team up to knock him off the market.
Engineering was a big hit recently, but it has been dropping right off the market. Self proclaimed RoB Addict "FaTDoG" was forced to join the food selling protest, after his engineering business across from Origin Park has gotten fewer and fewer visitors. "Dangit, the one eng shop I was buying from sold itself :/" says RoB player Trinity Armor.
Material is booming onto the market, as only in-stock seller "Rex", part of large 64x building (pictured below), partnered with "Adam487", Rex started selling the only mats available for the maximum price, $45. This has caused outrage among the city, as did food, but mat stores are not arising as did food.
Technology, new to Rise of Blockland 2's second beta run, powers Paint FX and simple events. (OnPlayerTouch, OnActivate, PlaySound, Disappear, and BottomPrint are the only events available) This was put into play to hopefully prevent immature spam print signs filled with glittery rainbow. Companies such as "Sletech" (run by Slezak) are doing successful selling Technology. User "Killer2", partly famous for being a Blockland Bulletin writer, and his successful dogfighting skills, has a Technology shop as well. He unfortunately, is not doing very well, constantly being out of stock.
Gas, still fails to hold a good value. I myself used to sell gas. I realized it's grand stupidity, and moved on to food. Giving you jets, it allows for fast transportation, but it is no doubt lowest in the stock market, as there is nothing in the server that will ever require it, that there is no other way to do.
In other news, many lots are beginning to be repossessed! As of tuesday, I have been finding many inactive lots being repossessed. This sells a lot to the city where all prints are reset to "A", and any other user may buy the lot for it's Lot Value.
On another note, here's something you might not have noticed! Imagine this: There is a road, with 2 properties on both sides, shown in this diagram:
[Lot][Road][Lot]If you own both of the lots on either side of the road, did you know you may buy that road for $10000 and build on the 5x edge on each side? Building on the inner 6x path is prohibited to guarantee a straight path is left for the people walking around the city.
