Author Topic: 1- Build computer. 2- Sell for money.  (Read 555 times)

Should I do this? Build inexpensive computers, then sell them to grannies that need a web browsing/email/word processing machine at a little bit of a markup? I'd sell locally, I wouldn't ship them or anything. There's a website that basically everyone in my state looks at when they want to buy something lol. If people think the general idea is good maybe I'll bother to type up more specific details.

Sounds good to me, but only if the money isnt going one way.

money isnt going one way?

Aka, you lose money building computers and don't really earn it back.

Wow you are an idiot

What?

You could've said that in a more polite way. :C

I was just trying to think of what Nobb was trying to say.

Um... yeah lol. The whole point is I sell at a markup, like I said in the OP.

Meh, you'd need to get people already interested in buying a computer then custom build it to their liking and price range then charge them maybe $100-200, or else unless there are a stuffton of people looking for gaming computers in your area you're going to build one and be out ~$600.

If you make cheap computers you will never be able to make a profit. Computer companies like Dell can make computer around $400 way better than you can because they pay like $20 for windows 7 and they get huge deals on parts. The only way to make a profit would be to make gaming computers $700+
