Here we are
Okay. There is this girl names Anne-Lise. Her sister died a month before this book. Anyway, she knows this guy named Fate. He gives her this box that has a red gemstone in the shape of a tear. Anyway, she ends up in the land of Azuria. She learns Fate is from there and that she needs to find out her destiny with the stone, called Death's Tear. She also learns there is a curse. Apparently if the tear is used for evil, all the monsters previously slain with it will return and kill the user. She accidentally triggers the curse. She meets a girl warrior named Sara and a boy names Mikey. And another little girl, Fate's niece, Anita. Then it is revealed that Fate is the Grim Reaper. Anita dies and Sara stays at this camp. Mikey kills himself for a blood sacrifice for the entrance to a temple. Anna (Anne-Lise) and Fate enter the mountain. He tells her her destiny is not only to kill him, but gather all the tears and destroy them. Then her curse will lift and she will be able to be free.
