Author Topic: Checking CDN for 3014 Files?  (Read 1422 times)

I'm trying to host a LAN game with my sister. I've done it before with this computer and another desktop, right now we are trying it with a small laptop. However, on the loading bar it says: "Checking CDN for 3014 Files" and it hasn't changed for about 15 minutes, not even a bit of progress. Could anyone help me with this?

P.S. It's just a small netbook, it doesn't even have a CD drive. Is it just not powerful enough? The computer I normally use is horribly outdated and it still runs Blockland really well, but who knows.

Thanks in advance.

I tried restarting on different maps several times, at one point I got a lower amount of files it was checking the CDN for, somewhere in the 2000s and that was in a different map. Now however, when I start the game it says "Connection attempt..." and  i don't remember what else, but when she tries to join it does the samething and does not let her in. I am completely confused.

Thanks

Well, if you go into your Blockland folder you will find a cache.db. This file contains the information of the add-ons that your download when you join a server. So the reason why the CDN is such a high number, is because the computer your sister is on does not have a cache with the data already stored in it. So Blockland then has to fill it back up.

Maybe copy the cache.db from yours to your sister's computer?
