Port Forwarding

OKay.
I did the whole Run/cmd/ipconfig
typed it in and went to router
changed the port forward to what it says on the sticky
and it still doesnt work, cant host a game
Am I missing something, because I know the stickies are a few years old, but I really do love the game and would like to host a server.
Please help me out.

How do you know it doesn't work? Have you asked a friend to join it?

Had one open for an hour (the ingame clock said so) and no i havent asked anyone to join them. Too many children in the irc chat to ask and i dont stay in it for long.

Well, one way to check is to go to here > Chunky Link ROFL. If your server is on this list, then it should be working. If it is and you still don't see results, PM me when I am online and I will attempt to join your server.

Nevermind I did find it on there, just didnt go all the way down the list. Still no one joining though.

Ok I got someone to try and join it today. They said they tried to join but it wouldnt let them.

Where do I go from here to host?

Just host. You don't need to port forward on a modem because there's only ever one connection on a modem.

I have tried hosting and I have asked people in the irc chat to join and they all tell me its dead so is there a way that I can keep it from going dead?
