I got braces today!

I got braces in the morning, took about 2 hours, from 9 to 11.
They are kinda hurting right now, but it's not really that noticeable.

Oddly enough my teeth seem perfect always. Rarely brush, My mum and brother (Who brush regulary) have several fillings. I don't.

My dentist says I most likely will never need braces if I rub my gums and teeth. It worked for my mom and dad when they were younger.

My teeth are fairly straight, considering the almost total lack of professional dental care I get.
I could get braces if I wanted to, but I'd prefer not to. My teeth are slightly, but unnoticeably out of line on the top row, and I have a single tooth tucked slightly behind some on the front of the bottom row.
And one half a molar, where a filling I had years ago came out. Half the tooth crumbled away. Teeth have a nasty taste in powder form.
I haven't visited a Dentist in coming on 8 years now, not since I moved out of the City. :s

I got them November last year, top and bottom. Orthodontist said I may only have them on for a year. They will hurt at first, but after a few hours the pain will wear off.

To be perfectly honest I can't wait to get them off. As soon as I got mine, everyone else started getting theirs off. :C
