Android - Questions (Got the phone)

So I got the phone, it's great and all except I was wondering about a few things.

The phone does not have a dataplan, just a regular phone plan.

• The OS says I can't connect to the Android Market without a dataplan. Is there any way around it?
• The OS says I can't use the Web Browser without a dataplan. Can I use it with WiFi connection?

That's all for now, eventually I'll start asking more questions as I get into the phone a bit more. Keep in mind this is my first smartphone and first phone that actually doesn't suck.

First is probably possible if you use a WiFi connection though Im not entirely sure. The second is also most likely possible.

But yeah no point in having an android if you arent going to get a data plan with it

Update: I had the wrong WEP key in for WiFi. Everything works now, the market, interwebs, all dat jazz. Lockin'
