Post-Apocalyptic Planning

In case of mutated animals/humans, I could get weapons from my dad.. He has a M1911, a 12 gauge, a couple semi/bolt rifles, a half a dozen BB guns and for some reason I have 10 pounds of AK-47 ammunition in my garage. Oh, and I could steal the two gas masks one of my friends has! I also have relatives in Texas if that helps in any way.

Radiation will burn the human body and eventually collapse the inner organs, killing the human and allowing the gas to continue deteriorating the corpse.

But yeah, guns would be nice.
