They could possibly zero pad old IPs.Example: IPv4 - 255.255.255.255 would become 0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.255.2 55.255.255 for IPv6.
Well yeah, they'd have to omit it for IPv4 because IPv4 wouldn't recognize the additional digits. That's what it would be from an IPv6 standpoint. Note, I have not read up on IPv6, so this is an educated guess.
So IPv6 would be Retro Compatible?
