@Mary & @Nickelob

You guys don't seem to be happy at any time when you are on these forums.

The both of you seem to be very calculating, from my experiences with you.  :/
You don't have to appear happy through text on a post.  For instance you really don't know if I'm happy and laughing with a friend in a Skype call or if I'm sitting alone in my dark room with my laptop lighting my face up.  I'm just being a realist, though.

Well yeah but you can tell a lot from what people say.  You are like, "factsfactsfactsfacts, opinion.  Declarative statement."

True, most of the time I do talk like that.  Sometimes in some posts I guess I'll be happy, depending on the subject.

Yup.  But like, even slang can portray your feelings, I just realized.  Yup is a very different response compared to yes.

I don't think so.

Depression is a lot more than being sad for a long time.

Yeah it can affect how your statement is read aloud to others in their minds.

Major Depression:   Very Slight
Dysthymia:   Extremely High
Bipolar Disorder:   Moderate
Cyclothymia:   Slight
Seasonal Affective Disorder:   Moderate
Postpartum Depression:   N/A

What the hell is Dysthymia.

Gee, it's like, those laws were there from the stone age, gosh.

Seriously, learn some of your own history. A lot of Americans struck oil from 1800 to 1200 and got rich and funded companies, which fused into bigger companies and so on.
I'm talking about nowdays silly. Know what time period I'm talking about.

Lol from this statement you know nothing about our history.
Oil drilling limits were not there when we began to "hit" on our oil (no loveual pun intended)
But now, it's modern days! And since we have laws that keep of from not drilling much oil on our own country, the revolutions breaking out in the middle east causes a risk factor and makes our gas prices crawl up! America is still sitting on a Oil goldmine! And due to the Socialist and environmentalist combination, it's hard to get at some of that slick black gold. Seriously, re-learn whatever you think you know about America's history.

Anti-depressants are stupid and caused many deaths.

They don't work anyway, it's all based on the Placebo effect.
You're a loving idiot. Don't spew your views on stuff until you get your facts straight. It's because of people like you that our society is so insanely backwards.

From skimming this topic, I'm pretty sure no one here knows jack stuff about psychology/depression whatsoever.
