Today, after leaving port, the crew of the lily made some minor modifications to their vessel. Before jumping to FTL, a [BAN] battlegroup appeared and tried to attack the ship. Luckily, they were able to jump to FTL before being destroyed. They then proceeded to the Arcturus system, a major [BAN] military base, to infiltrate an abandoned ARES outpost. Once aboard, data pointing to the location of the pendant was discovered, and the [BAN] defense forces detected our infiltration. Luckily, we managed to escape and board the derelict Danube. The danube was a concept ARES battleship design, drafted during the middle of the BAN war. It disappeared from drydock, and was never seen again.
With multiple burrowed(?) holes into the hull, it had sustained heavy damage on all decks and required us to wear EVA suits. Then, Captain Comrade revealed his dark secret. He was the one who stole the danube from the ARES spacedocks at the end of the BAN ARES war and tried to locate the pendant. He was knocked unconscious as he escaped, so he forgot wether or not it was aboard the ship. Just then, the same aliens that attacked him aboard the danube years ago attacked him again. After putting up a short defense, watcher (Unit 37765) sacrificed himself by destroying the danube via a damaged wave motion gun. Strangely, his remains were not found in the wreckage.
